it is a small analog distortion pedal covered with a fairly attractive painting style death metal red with black cracks.

UTILIZATION

the pedal has an instrument input (IN) and output to the amplifier (OUT).
it also has a bypass switch, 2 buttons control; LEVEL overall volume of the pedal and GAIN for the level of saturation.
a red LED illuminates when the effect is activated and little pretty nice bonus, it has a small black switch 3 positions which swells the sound at certain frequencies ...
we can connect the pedal to the mains or power it with a 9V battery by removing the rubber lip that holds the metal plate underneath.
the manual is in Japanese, so for me it's Chinese! (Ah ha!)

SOUND QUALITY

sounds are typically oriented metal (hence the name of the pedal!) is almost the same as an outright metal zone boss ...
me personally, I used as a boost to my laney amp adjusting volume levels and saturation, I was there it was interesting and it brought precision and sustain to my sound ...

OVERALL OPINION

I tried a lot of pedals before it, big muff, metal box, Belcat R-fuzz, byyang X-drive, coffin box BDXF-1, dunlop zakk wylde, Tech 21 XXL, vox Satchurator, snarling dogs doo blue, visual jekyll & hyde sound ....
what I love most: the color is death metal, the smallness of the craft, rubber handy to remove if you want to put a battery, ease of use, 3 position switch and the ability to use pedal as a boost which brings genuine interest.
what I like least, the sound is really too metal for my taste see too loud.
