This is the very famous English maker of Fuzz Boutique Pete Cornish.
It is famous for making the stuff for a lot of stars: David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Santana
Jimmy Page ... .

This is a heavily modified Big Muff.

Cornish has come a gear for touring: mega robust, predictable
lifetime warranty for a buyer.

UTILIZATION

Very simple, 3-button nothing to say on this point.

SOUND QUALITY

Big Muff sound but not really. First more mediums, not what's dug the MUFF.
A really nice grain is expected on some pieces of Gilmour and Floyd Live last
period. The sound is more present, less stifled, more airy, less compressed than MUFF.

Lots of bass!

The pedal has a more dense and more serious than MUFF. Start with an acute on the micro, it's really good.

The tone is quiet, although less powerful than a MUFF .. but it sounds more natural. It cleared up slightly
sound, but no more. It leaves breathing saturation.

No noise filtering super, super switching is done to balance the sound with big watts.

It is buffered, meaning that even off, the signal passes through some electronics.

This is not a disadvantage as the circuit has been designed to be transparent (Cornish has an article
complete this on their site)

Instead, the buffer size and denoise the input signal. All buffers by BOSS
example and is not a problem if done correctly.

The problem is the bad buffers: cry baby, whammy ... which part of the food
same frequency off grrrr.

This is most striking with the unit's dynamics. Barely played, the strings react
many attack ... easy to play, the notes come out. You feel better.

Coupled with a compressor, it provides a great sustain (even without a compressor for that matter). It's so
easier with this stuff.

The P2 comes a ton of harmonics as well, it's pretty amazing.

The saturation is the AC-DC to the good metal to Marilyn Manson, one is 50% of the Guns but it's image, because the saturation-type pedal
that is more accurate and a fine amp. Ideal for solos so

There are of course the sound of David Gilmour and Pink Floyd all the pieces
highly saturated: Sorrow, Confortably Numb, The Turning Away, The Wall ... . Even if the
was done with a MUFF, the P2 is really superior.

OVERALL OPINION

+ Point: This is obviously a good pedal with a beautiful grain. This is the stuff that depreciates
and which is not sold as much as nine hand, and yes ..

Point -: Really expensive. It runs in the € 517 in 2011 with 8 or 12 months of waiting. I had to break
My Savings Plan Housing to buy mine!

The case is huge, that's not good, he eats almost 3 times instead of a BOSS pedal.

The pedal does not open. Access is via a battery door / battery range. It's amazing but somehow one
does stack .. .

The decor is austere, not at all sexy, is the dymo ... Well it's simple but at this price, a painting with a design would have been welcome when
same.

Conclusion:

The design is intended primarily to military guitarists pros. I am such a fan of MUFF that I could not
not have this one:) I had a dozen.

If you are an extremist collector like me, take it. But it is primarily a touring gear. So in a room at home ... It
really oversized price as size. It's like a 4x12 amp what ... .

If you need a sound MUFF high quality, there are other alternatives.

Classic 70's experience of JMB. MUFF-based sound is almost identical to a P2, very present, made in France.

Which the DG1 and DG2 top tone is also quite expensive (Brazil), its identical to the P2 as well.
