Bob Balch signs a Railhammer pickup set
Railhammer and Bob Balch introduce a new humbucking pickup set for guitar signed by the Fu Manchu guitar player.
Available in neck and bridge versions, the Railhammer Bob Balch Signature pickup is based on the Chisel model. The difference between the pickups is the use, on the Signature version, of a brass cover and baseplate which, according to the brand, reduced the output and treble, but enhances the medium band.
The Bob Balch Signature pickup uses ceramic magnets and combines two rails to 2x3 plots. The neck version has a DC resistance of 7.5 kOhms and uses 42 gauge wire, while the gauge is 44 on the bridge version with a DC resistance of 13 kOhms. Both pickups are available with a chrome finish and the Bob Balch signature is laser engraved under the rail.
No information regarding the price of this new model, you can listen to demos on the Railhammer website.
