For almost seven months that I use these mics on a Elcery Xavier Petit.
Five real sound of single coils, but Um, no gas plant.
Twang of the true, beautiful sharp trs musical bass well balanced and well-Dfine,
a seamless harmonic richness, superb dynamics, good sustain compliance, molleux wish!
The output level is an honorable without being "nag".
I find them quite versatile but orients Blues Rock, Rock and Fusion.
Trs beautiful clean, its crank is a wonder in this evil crunch and the high gain, they behave well plutt.
Intermdires positions give her a dig beautiful.
A note in passing that a microphone is so good he can showcase what the stringed instrument of the product.
So if you have a good guitar type stratum or tl and want to enhance its acoustic quality without hum, Kinman THINK!
Price is not a barrire because they are worth it.
I test a lot of pickups for Start and a lot of strat too.
These Kinman worth of customs Fenders, Van Zante, or of Fralin and other Suhr V60 they are very similar but without Hum gas plant anti-hum!
The only difficulty (own all the good microphones and the REQUIREMENTS of all lovers of sound) Finding the right SETTING THE height.
The rest is cake!
PS: The Classic set is composed of two Avn56 in the neck position and a Avn59b circles and in the bridge position. If Avn56 have a sound, balanced trs open the Avn59b mdium sounds more but not too s'loigner Avn56 of sound, a bit of an APS Manir AlnicoII home Seymour Duncan .
Edit of 10/04/2009:
It's been two years now I use the set of microphones Kinman Avn Classic and I have not changed my opinion on the quality of these microphones.
I have made a small clip of dmo available here for his lead driver for a TS ( ) and a small mp3 for sounds clear. ( http://www.transartistik.net/mikka/spip/IMG/mp3/Jingle_PG5.mp3 ) It will give you a clearer ide as good as these microphones.
