Seymour Duncan introduce the Jeff Loomis Blackouts, a signature set of dynamic active pickups.
Custom-voiced by Arch Enemy and Conquering Dystopia’s own Jeff Loomis and inspired by high-output passive humbuckers, this dynamic active pickup set is announced as “all about clarity, attack and body” and aimed at providing a sound that remains clear even under heavy distortion. It is said to offer a strong attack to maintain detail when playing fast, but also with enough sustain and dynamics to keep up with Loomis’s advanced legato and picking techniques. The model is available in 6 and 7-string versions.
Announced street price for the set is $249.95. More details at www.seymourduncan.com.
