Value For Money : Excellent
- What kind of amplification (lamp, transistor ,...)?
Tube amp of 18 watts for préamli simulation. composed of a power section and a speaker.
Lamps: 2 JJ EL84 Premium power and not of a 12AX7 pre-amp but to reverse the phase.
Speaker: Atomic G12 Mega-Ton 12 "(by Eminence), 8 ohm, 150 watt.

- What is the power delivered?
Do not rely primarily on the power output (18 W) with this amp.
It is far more powerful than a Peavey Classic 30W tube. This comes from the speaker, who in addition to being designed for this amp and a great neutrality, is of great performance.

For example, the power of a mid-volume TONELAB SE is sufficient to go over all the instruments of my group (guitar + bass + drums). And there is still room! This amp is perfectly built for repeated and the stage.

- Connections. See previous opinions

- What are the settings, the effects? ...
No volume adjustments, equalization of: the simulator will do so.
An input, an effects loop.

The weight is reasonable: 20 kgs. It is transportable. The top of the amp is reserved for the location of the preamp and ventilation. The carrying handle is on the side: it is not very practical. Two handles c'eu been better.

UTILIZATION

Configuration very simple: you plug, you play.
the manual is clear, however, a small passage on the Automatic stanby for beginners like me lamps had been wise.

SOUNDS

This is the great success of this amp:

He faithfully transcribed the sounds of the simulator by providing warmth, fullness and vibrant, both in clean, crunch, or (large) saturation.

Simulations of HP and the effects go well.

It feels to play a combo but with the possibility of infinite sounds!

Word of warning, however: the sounds obtained are excellent. However, there is a difference with the sounds "all lamps". This difference tends to decrease with this kind of innovative product but there is no substitute to date a complete chain tube.

Involved in a cover band with different sounds and styles: blues, funk, rock, metal and heavy consumer effects for solos, combining Tonelab SE + Atomic is simply ... perfect.

In addition, the amp is back closed, which gives it a very interesting bass response. It gives more body and presence. To be heard within a group, it is not négigeable.
And if you abuse the palm muting is amp is definitely for you!

To sum up exactly what I expected from this type of amp: improve the sound of the simulator and make it sound like a "real" amp. My Tonelab has never sounded so good over the PA, headphones or speakers. It's a personal opinion, but nothing beats an amp with a 12-inch dish.

Note that sounds great at low volume and therefore usable at home.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 weeks.

It's been repeated with 2: impeccable. Next concert in two weeks, I would make a small edit.

I have not tried to equivalent models or even one. I bought it on the website of the importer https://www.g66.eu allowing a withdrawal period of 15 d. I recommend the site, they are very friendly and hyper-pro!

The value is excellent! € 469 including postage shipped in 3 days. It is a completely revised model demo but like new. (Yes!)
I find no fault with the finish that I find similar to my Marshall eg.

I would do this choice a thousand times!
