This is an amp in a pedal ... just been said.
22 Watt announced ... but it is not a mesa boogie that's for sure.

UTILIZATION

Extremely simple to configure and use.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it sporadically for a year or two. I have not tried the 44, not need.
Value-weight fatal.

History of pushing the plug into a corner I had fun at something.
As an introduction I said that I still have over-fed (to put it politely) to ruin me back because of the weight of my gear. After 10 or 15 years of scratching is thought to his vertebrae. Now then: I cobbled together a cardboard hp (pictures) that I put my 22 caliber and I scratched my arm with the lighter (Melody Maker).

And ... I have a COMPLETE set up weighs less than 7 pounds! with which I can repeat accompanied by bass, drums, second guitar and vocals and that makes it serious even wonder sometimes turn down the volume.

UTILIZATION

With a knob and a switch, hard to say it's complicated. Just use a good cable for speakers to the speaker, and the hardest part.

SOUNDS

I use it right now between a Pod HD 500 and a 2x12 Diezel is my B rig until my amp head. I had a little transistor amp that sounds at low volumes and that allows me to use the simulations of Pod at their peak.

The gamble has paid off, it sounds flawlessly. A priori no particular coloration of the sound, at least in the noise levels to which I have used so far (bottom middle).

I also tried it with an overdrive, it works pretty good.

The bright switch does make something in the high end, but I prefer without.

Note that the pedal quite a stir / breath, which is not yet pervasive.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall, an excellent pedal, having a small pocket Poweramp can still be useful I think. I did not blame individuals to do if not its price, a bit pricey though, a DIY enthusiast will achieve something similar much cheaper.

UTILIZATION

Setup could not be more simple.
This gives a good sound easy, but it can depend on what we put before and after.

SOUNDS

This little amp is relatively neutral, it is better to stay within the clear sound and make sound upstream, or multi-effects pedals.
I do not like the inherent distortion.
The 44Magnum will have more head room for clean sounds if needed.
The sound reproduction can be very good but depends greatly on the hp which it is connected. Try before you buy to see if it suits you.

OVERALL OPINION

Ideal in an ultra-portable configuration.
Typical use: I do not carry more than my guitar and my pedal-board, with the 22Caliber output, and I connected directly to the cabinet where I play now.

SOUNDS

At this level I am a bit disappointed ... the sound is really dark, muffled, even with the bright switch on.
Therefore it is not pretty clean, too low, and distortion have to put the treble knob (AMT Du Hast) to 3 / 4 or more to counter this muffled sound.
After that, it just may be my cabinet (Kustom Defender 1 * 12) but I did not have this problem when I plugged the head of the same name.
Another problem is that of the mass, the buzz as soon as I touch the strings most of my guitars and the problem is not of my guitars as it does with my personal cabling and wiring of new guitars. So it's a shame.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been several months since I used his strong point is its size and power, but the sound is really not that great unfortunately.
I do not think I would do that choice ....
On occasion I will try with another speaker or preamp, see if things improve.

I'm using a Start or an old TV cabinet in baja Hiwatt 4x12 (HP Fane) and another Hiwatt 2x12 (Celestion)

I have a Zvex "Box of Rock" and a mic amp to the crunch and distortion sounds, boost, etc. ... and I like it though!
If they have a dial tone, it has a bright switch, or normal. Enough to use that I have ...

OVERALL OPINION

Well, I usually play on Hiwatt Custom 100. His pop-rock and English.
It's heavy, bulky and often is 15W AC is enough for me (repeated, short concert).

I got this pedal because it is what is most convenient question and space power, and secondly because I have a sound that is quite right in general. So it suited quite precisely.
I make no secret that a tone would have been a real rain (hence the 9 / 10)

EVEN IF it sounds not like my Hiwatt ...

It costs a hundred euros, it's tiny, well, I say YES.
(I wanted a Tiny Terror, and then it was too big ... and good, this little EHX defended well in its way)

Not really possible to have a good clean from low volume (that is - say little prs 0,2 / 10 of volume if you want a ladder!), Otherwise a lot stronger on a baffle Orange 1 * 12, barely one in 1/10me volume for their money.

Used with different kind MXR distortion, no need more, I think even to do small gigs with.

Without anything until we get a powerful enough crunch by pushing a little volume.

7 / 10 for the "absence" of clean.
