Tube power amp stereo (two channels are completely independent) in 3U format
In three 12AX7 input stage and two pairs of 6L6 power section for, so 2x50 watts, and the transformers énormissimes soldano!

UTILIZATION

Ultra Simple Config is a Poweramp, and it is used as all racks! It is heavy, very heavy, it is the fault of transformers, but they contribute greatly to its "Soldano"! We can not do without! This is not dédomageable in my opinion.


SOUNDS

The sound ... how to say ... with a Soldano preamp, it sounds you can not soldano! A full sound in all frequencies, which swells louder and louder as and as we turn the volume knob, there or another Poweramp start to become noisy, the sound here goes the full width of the spectrum, and continues to climb again and again! even at the low background are still present, even though present tense, these low that give you the punch in the stomach, thank you oversize transformers! OVERALL OPINION

I use this for more than three Poweramp anx coupled to a sp-77 preamp from the same brand. Before I had a combo engl, I tested the Poweramp engl is very different, it's sharp, very steep, straight, and it does not swell much with the volume, rather it screams.

This amp is no longer produced since I do not know when, apparently intended for the Japanese market (according to finishing the front ^ ^), it is very difficult to find a used one, but it's still a good deal, as everything is Soldano made to last and over again! unlikely to have any problem ... Even the lamps long survive it!

I would do if this election? I bought a secondhand SLO head and I am more than happy! is the amp for a lifetime. I still have the rack ... for now ... it hurts me to separate myself even if it is dual use, because if I regret one day it will be mission impossible to find another one! The SM-100 (the other Poweramp soldano) is not stereo and is trading with gold ...
