Attenuator 16 ohm impedance amplifier with attenuation hand slice-4dB 16dB down, then complete silence until another via knob.
Bass and treble adjustments and filters to reduce hum canceling breath apparently.
Equipped with a small LED light to see if he sends a lot in his face or not!!

I use this attenuator since 2009 and the arrival of my Orange Rocker30 (30W ... so much that the THD margin!) And 2 * 12 @ home.
This allows you to push a little volume without bleeding and with a sound that seems still better than to play with the volume between 0 and 1 on the amp ...
Obviously the sound is better if we simply reduce to -4 or-8dB. A from-12dB attenuation appears less transparent, and it will feel more and more as you go up the mitigation.

Personally I use most often at-8dB with bass and treble adjustments enabled, and the sound seems to me very close to my amp.
Also note that the feeling of difference can also be made of the fact that sending less HP and is therefore no longer feels this dynamic guitar playing. Basically, if you play chamber volume, it is quite normal to find the sound a little poorer and soft ... Like what if you play with the volume at 0 and 1 HP ... The need Watts to express themselves, it is not for nothing ...
Heating side, it heats bit and what I find is that although there is no need to feed it to cool, there is a small fan that is supposed to stand on its own with the energy pumped through your amp hotplate (I say supposed because I never blunder ... actually saw with my amp and use my 30W heater not it ...).

Note that I often read that these attenuators gives a better result on obedience british amps ... And I think it is not wrong ...

To conclude, for the use I make of it suits me very well, but having since purchase "scoured" some other forums and have slightly expanded my knowledge of tube amps etc (that n ' was not the case at the time ...), I think we can be better somewhere else or you can have both cheaper small DIYers who are doing well in more than tinker ...
8/10 so because it is a pretty good product that goes well with my amp but because the price is not given and that transparency could be further improved saw what was done in the competition.
