It is a spring reverb type, a lot like a real ... A level setting and the intensity of the effect. A 9v ac outlet conventional (no battery). An input and output device.

UTILIZATION

Good use is very simple. There is an effect, it just sets its level in front or in the loop of an amp. The knobs are not very progressive, I do not exceed 9 or 10 am on each of them.

SOUND QUALITY

Attention here should know that this pedal is a type of sound, it is a reverb that emulates a very good spring reverb. Do not look for "hall" or "flat" etc..
It is true that the color may seem strange at first, but soon it's hard to do without. I use it in the effects loop of a Ceriatone DC 30 (Matchless) who does not have reverb, and the record is excellent, I never turn it off. Finally better than some authentic spring reverb to mid-range (hot rod, for example), very vintage overall.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for several months, I have tried many models, racks and pedals Digiverb, Boss, Biyang, Hall of Fame, the latter is much more complete, but the adjustment spring is not really better .

SOUND QUALITY

So the effect is effective, it has the spring reverb.
However, my complaint is that indeed a bit as I pushed a delay effect with my repetition effect was rather very far for my taste (and this too at low settings - Intermediate). There was also this kind of "liquid" sound (repeats sounded a bit like springs under water ... It sounds weird but C almost like my feelings, which is RATHER HARD to explain), sound did not like me.
I did not find the effect to my taste only minimal adjustments.

OVERALL OPINION

I used a few weeks. Not convinced.
Having experienced other Malekko models before, I was disappointed by the quality of the finished product, down compared to what I knew (I had the impression that the knobs had the game. .).

However, I sometimes use my Reverb amp and I'm pretty happy, so ...
The value for money is not bad (if you do not overpays this pedal only findable on occasion), but I do not have that choice.

Analog spring reverb. Type pedal "boutique" handmade therefore largely. I is used with a bass and bass guitar. the main quality of this effect is not to weaken the signal, the attack keeps the potato, it's upscale. everything thoroughly, it leaves lollipop, you are not disappointed, we can really have a big reverb through much effect.

I use it for a month and live in rehearsal. before I had the T-Rex Tonebug Reverb (2 sounds), but less pretty, and before I used the reverb boss (6 or 7 sounds ...).
No, what I like about this pedal, besides its size minus the pedalboard is its simplicity and its effectiveness: one sound (reveb at nationals) and a good sound.

Reverb is very simple, with two knobs: a mix for the level of reverb in the sound, and a knob for Dwell depth of the reverb.
Turning it is as if we were to increase the size of the room in which we play is really great.

So it's really where the description becomes interesting.
It's really a pedal AMAZING !!!!!
The reverb is simply gorgeous, super soft, it is a Fender-type reverb like the sound of the Fender Reverb Unit for connoisseurs.
This pedal really gives me a deeper, thicker, fuller, warmer, ... Finally you see what I mean anything!
It's really essential pedal especially for those like me who play on an amp without reverb (fender tweed bassman RI 59), but it is much more than that in my view: it improves the sound of my pedalboard and all my other pedals.
Frankly the difference is simply astounding, it is day and night, I think I can do without in the future. It is indispensable to me.

OVERALL OPINION

My opinion overall is that this pedal is just great and essential, especially considering its price quite correct (I paid for new home in Montpellier AZEMA € 134) for a pedal This quality cable and hand.

The Malekko Heavy Industry Chicklet Reverb is a super slim guitar effects pedal. It's definitely the smallest reverb pedal I've seen, hence the name "chicklet." I guess there are a few different pedals of this size in this series, but to date the only one I've used is the Chicklet Reverb. The pedal has a standard 1/4" input and output as requires power from a nine volt power supply. It isn't going to be rack mountable since it's a pedal.

UTILIZATION

Using Malekko Heavy Industry Chicklet Reverb is really easy no matter what sort of background you have when it comes to pedals and reverb in general. The two parameters that are found on the Chicklet Reverb control your mix level and dwell, which is essentially your decay or how long the effect will last for. Since that's all there is to using the pedal, a manual shouldn't be necessary.

SOUND QUALITY

A client recently brought in the Malekko Heavy Industry Chicklet Reverb in his guitar rig, so while I don't an in depth account with the Chicklet Reverb, I've heard it and seen it used enough that I know exactly what it can do. For starters, it's got a very realistic sounding reverb, although there isn't very much room for tweaking. It's great for getting a quick and simple reverb sound, but this isn't going to be as versatile as many of the modern reverb pedals are today. I guess you wouldn't expect too much on that front however, considering how small of a pedal it is. It does have an overall rich sound to it, although I'm not sure what type of reverb exactly they are trying to emulate. A great feature of the pedal is that it will continue with it's decay even after you turn the pedal off, so you won't lose that trail if you want to disengage the effect at the end of a lick or something.

OVERALL OPINION

Malekko Heavy Industry's Chicklet Reverb is a nifty little pedal that is smaller than most pedals out there that I've seen. It has a very good sound quality, but since it doesn't have that many options it is somewhat limited in the sounds it can achieve. The price also isn't the cheapest for a pedal of this size and with this flexibility, but it isn't too expensive where everyone wouldn't be able to get it if they wanted a reverb pedal. Personally, while I like this pedal a lot, if I'm going to be spending over $100 USD on a reverb pedal, I'd go with something with a bit more options...
