Published on 12/29/13 at 14:17I just installed it in my vox AC15C1, which is rather thin and crackly original. I experienced several hp there, and cannabis is quite similar in concept to legend alnico 122, ie rather sweet and bassy.
I have nice bass and sweet treble even with the tone cut to zero, it is much less noisy than the original greenback or HH aluminum cone previously mounted.
on the other hand I doubt it is quite boring for the group now for the volume that is not stronger than the HH (more slamming it was louder in the end).
For now I play with a Tele 2 double deluxe and my faith does not slap as much as usual on the rex, on the other hand I have to put more bass on the distortion for the same result as before, and the position intermediate (both pickups together splitted) is clearly exploitable (more body less nasal).
Behavior very different from other hp, it will take me more time to better identify with, especially in interactions with pedal drive.
For now the goal is achieved, namely to make the hottest and most natural vox, and finished the squealing highs. My rating is provisional.
