D’Addario launched the EXP Electric strings available for Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Electric and Acoustic Bass, Classical Guitar and Mandolin.
“To ensure that D’Addario’s tight tolerances and specifications are followed, the EXP Wire machine draws wire from rod, anneals, cleans, coats, cures and spools wire all in one continuous process, ” D’Addario says.
By using a 50% thinner and more concentric coating on the wrap wires, D’Addario EXP Electric strings deliver longer life, completely natural tone, and the feel of uncoated strings, the company assures.
Pricing & Availability
They are available in the same gauges as the best-selling XL electric sets EXL110, EXL120, EXL115, EXL125 and EXL140.
EXP Electrics retail for $19.99 and include an introductory special of a free extra high E string in each set.
