I played a while with their smaller sisters 11/50...

On my guitar (Godin LGH) the high E string had a much too hollow sound. The problem disappeared almost completely with a 12/52 string set! The mids sound even better and the lows are almost the same. These strings do allow halftone bends but are definitely not made for one tone bends!

Disadvantage: chord progressions using a lot of barre chords are harder to play and I get tired...

I'll have to use them a while and decide if I keep them or if I go back to a 11/50 string set...
