Dunlop Rev. Willy's Lottery

Dunlop partnered with the Reverend Billy Gibbons aka Willy to offer fans of guitar accessories zztop "signatures": strings, picks and bottlenecks.
The packaging is a real success, it combines retro style and sealing foolproof. The strings are even packed a bag with a dryer, can thus be stored without fear of premature oxidation. No can of worms as in D'addario or other, each is separated in its pouch. They are made of nickel plated steel threads.
The proposed tie range from ultra-light 007-038 and 008-040 (those taken by the legendary bearded Texan) in light 010-046.
I have personally opted for the 008-040 that I installed on an ESP 24 boxes pitch 25 1 / 2 (like Fender) equipped with microphones Dimarzio D-activator. From the outset we are surprised by the stability of the strings from the assembly despite the very light pull. Without plugging the guitar they have no side "zinc" of many other brands and have a good volume. Sound to the amp is very roots, fat and warm, well balanced with nice harmonics in the midrange. Lovers of extreme sounds very high gain and high gloss will probably be disappointed. However these strings have a fairly pronounced vintage side and allow very close to the sound of guitarist zztop. The lovers of sounds and 70's hard rock blues rock will be in heaven. Even with the gain in depth notes retain their clarity and are articulated with beautiful bass, treble strings do not sound shrill, for once. The crunches are clear and are perfectly balanced to blues and jazz.
Finally, the agreement is required to copy and 15 days since I installed this game, the strings properly resistant to oxidation. I do not know how long they will last before I change them but I am confident as to the quality of their materials.
In summary a very good strings that need to be tested, you could adopt them and you grow a beard!
