I received this pedal just a few days ago, and where to start? Equipped with two Electro-Harmonix 12AX7EH tubes, it's undoubtedly the wildest pedal I've ever owned. It quickly became my favorite. I tried to tame it with two Sylvania 12AU7 tubes, but that attempt was a waste of energy, both for me and for the pedal.
In conclusion: you can’t master it (and that’s fascinating), but you can’t hate it either. Extremely sensitive, it’s a stainless steel box full of surprises. At the beginning of my search, I wanted to get my hands on a Guyatone Flip Funky Box, but now I’m glad I couldn’t find one.
