Snarling Dogs Black Bawls

Wah quite original due to its design, system switch crybaby type, and gain knob, which mixes the output volume and distorts the sound. Amplitude large enough.
In detail, it will signal the mutt's eyes that light up red when the wah is switched on (very useful for those with foot slides!) And a 9v power supply sector type boss. the hatch for the battery is very accessible. The construction is of good quality. True Bypass, which is essential for me (in the preliminary selection of my belongings)

Level construction and use, it deserves a 9.

UTILIZATION

Nothing special to report, the system seems to hold water, no play in the pedal, a system of rack ends. A note at the outset it needs to be set to 2 feet to trigger the switch as the pads are hard. it softens with time

SOUND QUALITY

The large amplitude can reach deep bass extrêmmements but always audible snapping with acute, full of mediums but never shrill or biting.

In clear sound with the gain at least the end of the race allows all the follies "funkysantes", as the slightest stress changes the sound.
Going up a little gain, you get a slight crunch in the attacks, I love this position because it also goes a bit the output volume, and coupled with a natural crunch like the sound got a bit fat. Start with one, I get a little heat.
And finally, with a good distortion thrust, the wah does not move: she says she is there with a super interesting presence, or that is on the handle. The gain knob is less than de'efficacité clean sounds, but it can crunch through a perfect, shall we say. It even tends to "flanger" with a bit of distortion

OVERALL OPINION

I play everything, I had a wah that goes everywhere. I think that I could not get much better, or so much more. I regret that the distribution is so restricted in France, these pedals have real value. But not too different, the sounds are in the mind a bit vintage but not too much, certainly not marginal and use is even more pleasurable.

I found my wah with the sound I wanted.
