I plan on using my
SM57
to record the amp. Im looking for a $100-ish amp that would be good for recording. Suggestions and/or links would be awesome. thanks!

$100 is a really tight budget. My personal suggestion would be to give up the idea of miking an amp and to buy a V-Amp2:
