I own one since 2004, is an amp that has a surprising punch including when listening at low volumes. I can not compare that to my old NAD 312 that I sold because I just wanted more power to shake my speakers sound BC Tiber.
It is at the attacks of percussive sounds and bass perfectly round I saw the most difference
One can only regret the absence of phono input ..
I currently use it as a preamp Luxman upstream m383 and the duo worked wonders
