All user reviews for the Onkyo Integra A-809

I've had 15 days and I appreciate more and more of. I bought it for a second hearing system with bookshelf speakers NOVA B3 + CB JAMO SUB 200 in very low volume just to give what it lacks in B3 and ....
very surprised rendering.
Out of curiosity, so I associated with my ASA MONITOR PRO and I find it almost better than my Denon PMA 2000, more gentle, less fatigue at high volume, but its lacking some serious.
ONKYO A 809 a very good amp occasion.

How would you rate the quality / price? not great as design flaw

With experience, you do again this choice? Not your best ... a little rotel or nad

Wholesale default source selector jumps and power that comes quickly distortion

the A-809 is part of the range of Onkyo Integra is the high-end components selected from the best. Nothing to say about the build quality and sound. Practical side selector "source direct", 2 220V on the back, headphone jack on the front. A fault anyway, common to all onkyo amps of that era: the source selector which changes source alone. The solution is sprayed onto the contacts of the bomb "special touch" and is quiet for 2 years. Amp very heavy: 20kg, demonstrating the quality of components used. Everything is oversized. If you get the chance, buy it without hesitation. Even an A-807. It is only the power to change.
