I use it for a few days. Nothing like a "monitoring" model that will be far more linear, better insulated, built better but much more expensive.

So here is my opinion. It is ONE thing, he did well, do not ask him more.

I think it's a real bias on the part of the manufacturer, and I must say I find it successful.

I was offered this headphone, and generally speaking, in utlisation pro I use better quality headphones (Ultrasone, AKG, Sennheiser.). Me here at last it is a nomadic headset to listen to MP3.

it's comfortable, it takes a little ears warm. I find it quite suitable for the insulation of the nomad (in town it can not be too bothered by outside noise, but not to be surprised by either traffic for example.) Is also quite light.

I listen to mostly rock with. The pads are soft and thick, and it does not serve me too skull.

For a headphone of this bill can not expect a flawless production. Swaged wire and jack a little cheap may decrease its life expectancy.

This is where it gets interesting. This headphone made me smile at its output, a range of headphones nomadic stamped Marshall did not give me confidence, CA smelled rather crappy marketing plan than anything else.

And bah bah ... and in the end it's not bad. Not bad for the rock, and that's where I think Marshall did a good job. I will not make a toast on the material to its "right" or "colored" I like certain products in each category. The strength of this headphone is precisely that it is adapted to its logo. The report will be average or mediocre on other styles of music, but the large width of the soundstage really helps loosen the intricacies of mix (vocals / keyboards / strings, "artistic" effects of compression ..) that often go to the hatch. The bass are not artificially inflated (which usually just fills me. A kiss to Beats and Bose in passing.) So serious (Low / Bass drum) take out their place in the mix. The highs are a little muffled, probably an old reminiscence fans JCM 800 and the mids are a bit inflated, thereby enhancing rather subtle sound of guitars, but also to highlight the speech intelligibility, and this is also really nice. The headphone is not a monstrous potato, thereby not making the listening tiring after a while.

I also tried on guitar preamp and I find the results quite satisfactory for playing guitar with headphones. light, not overwhelming, comfortable and rewarding.

I have long used in my home studio the AKG K140, and for several years the Audio-Technica ATH-M50, a marvel of value, which for 50 € more buries the righteousness Marshall sound level ( but it is true that there in between the headphone monitoring category ...)

Otherwise, listening to "hifi" I also had the Sony and Sennheiser, which I was pretty happy.

So finally, I would say that this headphone is nice, not a bad end, but the bass reproduction at once too "generous" and messy (my copy anyway) makes listening very unpleasant.

I used this headset to go with my iPhone. No concern for comfort, "small" atria not bothered me beyond measure.

Manufacturing is correct, but no more: it happened a pad detaches. Even if just the reclipser to the headset at this price level we begin to expect better.
No detachable connections ... as on most headphones so it's not really a criterion (say that it is rather pleasant surprise when a LA model the offers).

Good audio balance is clearly THE weak point of this headphone. While some here have heard a predominance of mid-high, I found my way over-representation of low, whatever the style of music listening. And even if they were accurate ... but no, it's drool everywhere.

I am currently compare with the Spirit of One in FOCAL (freshly out) and also with my old Sennheiser HD200 which soon 10 years. I also had a SONY MDR 7504 and I could hear some BEATS, AKG, BEYER DYNAMIC, BOSE ...

What feature do you like most?
The Marshall is a marvel! The 1st second it seems a bit tinny, yet everything is well detailed, very accurate. Is acute low back a little but not annoying dutout. Certainly not neutral but so precise, it happens in all musical styles. But I'm a big fan of techno (I'm DJ), but not only, I listen to a lot of different music, and I judge always better with real zik.

FOCAL when he has insulates very well, a neutral sound, + cold, with beautiful infrabass, analytical (he know a her rotten), but overall not as accurate as MARSHALL (though it costs twice) .
SENNHEISER to the fact his time even after hard races (2têtes under the headphone ..... it happens!!), And 2 + cords later, he is still alive. Very little dynamics, no bass, but without specific +, comfortable, not isolate dutout, the foam is still not deformed or damaged. (And he has seen heads).
The SONY lasted only 1year and a half, he broke at the earpiece headband (though jaded, it was a kdo) assé precise but more neutral

I received this headset as a gift at Christmas 2011.

Before him I had only headphones found in supermarkets, in ranges of average price (50 euros).

I love the look (very nice), its ergonomics, lightness (we do not feel almost), and especially its sound reproduction. Very good definition sound, clear sound clarity and realism of big sounds.

The only negative, it is hot after a while, which is not necessarily pleasant.

I think for the price (about 85 euros on the net), it was a very good headphone, look at Marshall.

I think I remake this choice unless my budget allows me to see what happens in the more expensive ranges.

Used for about 6 months.

I admit that I'm pretty impressed with its build quality (and finishing ... quite pretty, amp more than the same brand if we were wrong language) ... These are my headphones terrain: the iPhone on commuting on the Mac for computer music in my Line6 Pod HD 22H after work ... They did not move unlike other headsets that I have had previously and who resisted evil (eg 3 different headphones offered by the service for a product purchased and guaranteed for 2 years ...).

So I'm delighted, especially as I play it or I listen, I'm in his favorite spectrum, namely the rock ... In fact to be honest, it does not delight the fans of big bass (Rap, R'n'B, techno, go your way ...) nor fades fi and classic (it has a fairly strong color). He created a "bump" in the mid, while remaining balanced bass and treble, which provides excellent dynamics to be honest, it gives a really natural grain simulations of my POD, and it is the only headphone that offered this made me!

As for comfort and long-term use RAS. The atria are not huge but are very comfortable (and better with time ...).

The only negatives in my case:

In short: to recommend if you like rock sounds with dynamics.

I am offered a small Blowin months and I love this headphone!
I have not tried many other, much less the premium
but that does not preclude me to find it excellent.
One thing is certain it is strongly not recommended to lovers of big bass,
is the opposite of a monsterbeat (not tested but I know the type).
Here we are in the balance I want to say (it y 'low eh).
The biggest bullshit I've read about it was a critical
made on his stereo too narrow .... hogwash! on the contrary even, it breathes, it is sometimes too .. "space"!
Sometimes I mix one to side with the evening and a few surprises await me the next day's speakers, as low as overly intrusive on the headphone "mastered".
And last but does not hurt and what almost everyone agrees, what's beautiful!

It's been a week since I use it.

What I love most: the look of the headphone in general, even if it is actually smaller than it may seem in the pictures. The sound also is very good unlike all the comments suggesting that the brand they bought more than sound. The so-called lack of bass is really only a faithful reproduction of sound, without exaggeration, unlike many of headsets on the market that appeal by sweetening their sound. I have an AKG K242 HD for my apartment, I could not resist making the comparison on a few different drives and out the Marshall holds the road! While the sound is not as "hot" but the nuances are there, that there is no one covering the other ... After all depend on the quality of music. It is certain that listening format. Mp3 encoded at 128kbs never help matters ...

If the headphone looks to me strong, I did not complain of comfort, I have small ears and it fits perfectly. The jack seems to me perhaps a little weak and fragile, but we'll see in a while.

I have not really noticed many negatives. The price may be a bit high, but hey, Marshall has never been known for its cheap price. I came across a good deal on my purchase (€ 68) and for that price, absolutely I would do without hesitation that this choice.

I use it for 2 days now .. I try many headphones before (WESC, Beats by Dre, Bose) But I really wanted a Marshall viewed as a lot of us I am guitarist: D
I love his aesthetic finish .. true to the brand amps. (same components). There is nothing that I did not appreciate, if not its very present bass. Anyway, as expected, the Marshall's, so his medium well known! while those who expect the big bass sick, go rather BEATS.
The report qualitée price is really good. A very solid headset for € 100, Marshall sound. Plugged into an amp or a pedal, you get a great sound to play the guitar or bass. (Mine is even better than the sound of my amplifier xD) With experience, I would do this choice! White always: D!
For the record, I took in white since the 1958 Marshall Randy Rhoads was white hahaha!

I admit that I wished an audiophile Grado style to go with my Cowon mp3 J3.

I tried the igrado, which left me a total disappointment with so-called SR60 headphones of the brand, not memorable.

In short I wanted a headphone headband but less massive than my headphone usual reference Alle n & Headt Xd53 xone always surprises me by its quality!!

I tried a multitude of models Sennheiser, Sony, Philips, wesc, urban ....
without actually find my bonhneur.

I had already listened to this model major, who had left me very good memories including low maus somewhat veiled in the treble.
it is the opposite of his brilliant record one could say a analagique the opposite of a sound clinical cold.

Comfort is pretty good, a little pressure on the ears (which will be a little less over time), and the small square headphones, requiring a good investment. Isolation rather good!

the +: a vintage look with elements of good quality.
their organic sound, Lerendu "specific" wanted by the brand to be closer to the spirit of these célèbressimes guitar amps.
The paradox is that so nrendu typed but still varies from well-known pieces, thereby prouvaznt a certain neutrality, there is no clearly identifiable sound that keep coming back even though we can not speak of full transparency (only my Xd 53 Sennheiser HD25 a new German & other Stax permit really)

So R / Q / P / very good and I remake this choice out of context because I do not see him and especially not concuurent monster beats!!

the -: an acute upper medium / treble a little short
having to equalizer to greatly improve the rendering and then access to a very high level of quality, although not the only demerit IE lne e ndirect without correction.

The Koss PortaPro and the Sony MDR-XB500. I talk about headphones attention that I used under the same conditions as the Marshall Major, namely a portable listening and not daily monitoring.

What thing do you like most/least about it?
Pros:
Already, it is beautiful. Is it the retro look of the headphones of the 80, with its extensible jack and angular shapes. Each style, but I think it throws, although in fact it is quite simple and a mat.
Another strong point, it is "fully collapsible", namely that folds on itself, like the PortaPro. Once folded, it is even more compact than the Koss, I had hardly thought possible!
Finally, it looks solid, I can not find it cheap at all and the finish is exemplary. Must see over time, but it looks good. It is very light but very compact.
THANK then to Marshall for putting a Jack Stand Strong, serious it is because of that damn Jack that I killed all my old headphones. And Jack can not quite stretch if you screw up you take the thread somewhere, it's great every day.

Cons:
After two hours of continuous listening, it makes me ears hurt, but I think it's because it is new, the Sony did this to me at first, then it spent the month of after. Once the foam is well established, I think it will go.
I not work with Marshall, but I'm too personal to say anything more negative, I try to be as neutral as possible.

In sound:
Notice to those seeking a neutral headphone, go your way. At the same time, it's not a studio headphones and listen to his music to his iPod is nickel. Marshall put his paw on the record sound, it feels.
Me, I use this headset all day in the Paris subway (although noisy so) and the insulation is not terrible, but I usually set the volume to 11, it bothers me no more than that. Other than that I'm not a big nag, and in a quiet listening on headphones to a good overall dynamic.
I also use the Major to mix, and it's really the foot. This headset with a fishing hell, and a hit on the high mids.
The bass is well again due I think, maybe a bit too cleared (as senior high), but a quick equalizer rule quickly did that.
Good overall sound is good, it reminds me of the PortaPro at the dynamic (but better). It's not perfect, but for 100 Euros is very correct. At this price there's no many products that will offer better. I much prefer the Beats by Dre (who are around the 300 Euros anyway ...)

What is your opinion about the value for the price?
Very good, knowing the reputation of brands to play on their notoriety. 100 Euros is reasonable for the type of headphone is it, I too felt like paying the logo "Marshall".

Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
Given the number of headphones that come out a month I can not say too much ... But in any case I am fully satisfied. This headset is good, solid, and it represents me well! (I'm a guitarist, and proud to be a Marshall on my ears!).

Finally, remember that Marshall is a novice in terms of headphones, and they start relatively well. There's always room for improvement, we will see in the future. Again this headphone and personality will not suit everyone, especially first-moaners who hope to find a grain and a dynamic perfect at this price: aim rather at Audio Technica or ultrasound, they make very property at 1500 Euro. But trust me, it slams. If you want to get one in store is not won on the other hand. I managed to dig up a Fnac in Paris, but it's a little misery at the level of availability.
