Monstrous bass, treble pathetic, it sounds like a headphone Seinnheiser 30 cest horribly mean CHEAP.
The sound is muffled, sorely lacking in precision. The best mix becomes a slurry infme. Try dcouter the beautiful strings of Sampletank the HD500, you lose all hope of srieusement work with this type of hardware.

I possde this headphone for several years and I am very happy. I really do not see how one can find the infamous headphone if you have at least an ear for music. Certe everyone's tastes and expectations of a headphone but not a headphone because I do not agree that I will say it's crap.

Ergonomics standard, the headphone and very flexible, it can Todra in all directions and make him fall to the ground without risk of breakage. This raises of course the ears, and rule well. The biggest highlight of this headset is comfort. It is very light, the pads are very comfortable, but they might have were better in a material other than the faux leather in a few years and deteriorates quite faded. It may be kept for hours without any pressure on the ears, I fell asleep for hundreds of nights with the headphones on. The 3m cable is very apreciation but against some there is a tendency to overwrite several years but I did once chang (8).

I use these headphones for 7 years now.
I bought this headset, my first, because Sennheiser, Sennheiser is what. We can not ask him to be a Beyer. So it is not particularly analytical, it has no place in gold in the home studio but it is very musical and covers a large frequency band.

- Just after 7 years of use the leather is so heated that looks like it has melted in some places. Some people have had this? I think it's because on some occasions I had wet hair with the headphones on, thus forcing the leather not like it.
- The HP in are good, but I feel that there is one that has dropped. Would have to be more reliable ...

So no I do not think I would do this choice, I would wait longer and I'll buy a hat crazy, like the HD 600 or STAX.
If not in the same price range I recommend the model just above ear with velvet, it is not the same problems as the leather (heated & Co.)

I've been using these headphones for seven years.
They are my first headphones. I bought them because they are Sennheiser! Don't expect them to be Beyerdynamic. They don't have a very analytic sound but can be found in many studios because they sound very musical and cover a wide frequency range.

I have never regretted having bought them: nice looking product, pleasant to use, but some things disappointed me:
- I already replaced the cable three times because of a bad contact in the proprietary jack. On the other hand, I must say that I didn't treat them very carefully...
- The sound is musical but tiring in the long run. I find them too "closed." Especially because I use them loud and the leather gets really warm.
- After seven years of use, the leather became so warm that it seemed like it would melt. Perhaps because my hair was wet sometimes... It's not good for leather.
- Good quality transducers but it seems one of them doesn't work properly anymore. I would like more reliability...

I don't think I would buy them again. I would save more money and buy a premium product like the HD600 or a STAX.
In this price price range, I recommend the product but with velvet ear cups to avoid heating problems.
