Eagle brand is located in Oslo, Norway. Manufacturer of guitar (Epiphone reproduction style) since 1991. The guitars are made in Korea
It is a hollow body guitar, reproduction of the famous Gibson ES 350.
How many frets, what kind of microphone and their configuration? 20 frets, 2 humbucker pickups gibson type (mine are dated May 7, 1979.
What are the settings (volume, tone, micro switch ...)? There is a 3 position coach and a knob and tone micro flight.
Ergonomics is it good (in terms of shape, weight ...)?
Rather well done, very deep varnish, nice touch. Handle very fine but not very easy to play, the string action can be set very low. Originally the nut body is made of wood but it was absolutely replace it with a nut to bridge adjustable for the accuracy of harmonics.
In terms of weight, it's pretty impressive, it is heavy. But remains manageable even when playing standing. (This is not a strat after all!)
Access to the treble is fairly easy. The varnish is cracked on the box (I bought it like that)
Gets it easy to sound good?
There is nothing wrong, I like it, I used it in jazz: in this style, she obviously excels, it is accurate for the chorus and top thanks to agreements to handle very easy.
I use it now to accompany me to the song with a crunch sound, despite a low output (I tested with several guitars, one feels the difference) is also good in this style.
I bought (3500 francs at the time) in 1993 to my teacher of Jazz. I hope I do not deceive myself at the reference. No number on the guitar, only a date on the microphones. On-site verification "Eagle", I found the same model (same head, shape, mark keys) only the bridge is different. I've never seen elsewhere! Maybe a collector ... In any case a good guitar!
