Guitar made in United States, measurements are identical to the 335. forthe wood, I'm not an expert, all I can tell it's a ebony fingerboard
ds inlays are mother of pearl rectangles (true pearl, beautiful!) as the models gibson custom home
the original is a chvalet TP6, with adjustment screw purposes, such as a sr violoncellepar example. mine has a Bigsby that is not original, but it seems that a custom model came out with the Bigsby and the screw holes for fixing the bridge would be covered with a metal cap with the included custom ...
The main strength of this guitar is the versatility of sounds, dan the sphere of the 335 but with a hundred times more opportunities!
Each microphone is a splittable swtch two positions.
the handle is intended only to Canadian loggers
the sound is very very good, good ac and distributes well.
UTILIZATION
The handle is a real ancient oak tree trunk.
access to the treble is easy, it's like a 335.
ergonomics is very good, the guitar does not sting the nose and the handle so it is vertical rather easy qd even quite the game
on the other hand for weight, planning sessions, physiotherapy, before playing for your muscles and shoulders well as it should, and after too, because decidedly it is a real hard place!
for her, no doubt, the gibson, and the best vintage!
the blues of course, the switch can provide a range of sounds like the BB King Lucille, it's going from very dark to very bright
its pure jazz too, to Scoffield, Pat Metheny, and Barney Kessel, Joe Pass, playing on the set
the rock-bottom balloons! microphones would be dirty fingers, very silky and very clear sound with heavy distortion or saturation
the crunch is beautiful
for trash, not double pkoi a mix with this guitar ...

SOUNDS
It is suitable for many things to tell the truth, jazz, blues, pop, rock, reggae, ska /.... is not clear or set the limits with this guitar!!
I managed to play a Line 6 Flextone III XL, all config dampli are good with this amp.
I also play a vox a smaller lamp, the c the killer sound!
I prefer the sound serious micro switch, which gives a great sound to pop, and if the micro switch for non-serious jazz, rather the intermediate position for blues and rock for the bridge pickup.
OVERALL OPINION
This guitar is the guitar!
are more versatile than a 335, everything is good in her!
it is no longer fabriuée long ago, its production ranging from 1978 to 1986 or something like that.
I do not sell it for anything and if the choice had to be rebuilt, of course I do it again!
It's still a vintage guitar by definition, no longer produced, that sounds wonderful and goes on any terrain with great ease and musical sound quality second to none.
frankly, pkoi buy a 335 are in these conditions?
