UTILIZATION
Channel slim type '63!
Easy access to acute.
Fairly light and easy to play!
We get easily a good sound! The '57 Classic is very warm!
SOUNDS
The tone knobs are effective and sensitive.
Tests plugged the Fender Twin, Vibrolux, Blues Jr., '57, '65 ... Marshall MR1974X!
Although Vintage typed (and legendary), it can play anything with this beauty!
Obviously I love all the sounds in both crystal clear through the lightly stained crunchy creamy ...
Its round and well balanced hot ... So versatile!
Playing on the knobs gives a fairly broad palette of his! Alvin Lee, Chuck Berry, Creedence, Crunch has a very fat ZZTop, AcDc ... From Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk, Pop Rock at the Southern ... ENOOOORME!
OVERALL OPINION
A wonder of the Gibson Custom Shop with stunning finishes!
The accuracy of this reissue ES-335 is identical to the original. In 1962 the popular Thinline semi-hollow Gibson adopted a thinner neck profile, faster.
The reissue Gibson 1963 ES-335 is built on the original forms by the best luthiers in the world (next trip to the States towards the studios of Memphis master luthiers) Yes yes yes!
A little (much) more expensive than his twin sister almost the superb "ES-335 Block Inlay Custom Memphis" (Body laminated maple / poplar / maple Bustbucker & 1 & 2 and yet so sublime).
What I like least ... the price ^ ^ But anyway 10/10 for money!
It is a legend that we keep and cherish life ... A
