Gibson ES-325

This is a semi-hollow guitar "Body-style" (a hearing in F). Mine (pictured) is a ES325TD 1976, manufactures in the U.S. as whole "ES325sries" between 1972 and 1979.
It has 22 frets, rosewood fingerboard, two microphones mini-humbucker (neck and bridge).
It has a `Tune-O-Matic and a bridge / tailpiece trapze.

: Mechanical "Gibson Deluxe" from era. Always brave though some slack over the years ...
The handle is rather late for a Gibson ... Note a volute reinforcing the junction head / neck typical to the PERIOD. The neck has never "bougquot;, there has never been rglage ncessaire.

UTILIZATION

The neck is super enjoyable to play, whether in solos or rhythm: pure pleasure and without hand fatigue (no need for fingers XXL). You can do everything: jazz, blues, rock ... good! of heavy-mtal I dunno ...
CASC is the acute ais although this is not a 24 fret and play the very bottom of the handle is not the subject of this guitar.
It is very good balance and relatively lgre without being too (I say balance !!!); The semi-hollow body is there for something. The ergonomics are excellent for me, it adapts well to play seated or standing. You can play longer without fatigue.
It is very easy to find "the sound". The rglages are simple, precise ... and microphones do their job perfectly!

SOUNDS

This guitar is extremely versatile. I play jazzy blues, blues and rock ... and more if affinities ... She can do almost everything.
I play live on a Roland JC77 or via a BOSS ME5 more sounds if needed. It's nickel!
I love all the sounds, but mostly sounds cleans up, rather "slap".

OVERALL OPINION

It's been 30 years dja!
It is solid with a little attention. Everything is original and it probably sounds like new or better ... No spitting in the "knobs" ... of 32 years. Just the tui of origin a little tired, but he knocked!
I acquired this guitar to replace a tlcaster Fender (1968), which sounded really good (I know it's not at all the same!) I wanted to try Gibson, this guitar m ' was immediately convinced. I also availing oneself of a Godin Artisan ST of the 1st time (closer to the Fender sounds) and these 2 guitars really cover a wide range of sounds ... and play!
