Godin 5th Avenue Cognac Burst with P90 screwed onto the table. See the features on the site or elsewhere Godin. What I can say is that it is very well finished and very nice for my taste. Just the bridge that does not follow exactly the table. A luthier can fix it easily. The quality of the bridge is my only doubt about the violin, perhaps something that I will change one day for a model ebony, but I ask the advice of a specialist.
UTILIZATION
I had a lot of guitar and this one is one of the most enjoyable to play. Yet far from being the most expensive. I rarely had as much fun itches. Who knows why. The lightness, the handle, balance, simplicity? There's no cutaway but well enough to play box! In addition, precision tuner support, it is perfectly true right out of the box.
SOUNDS
I had a Hofner, Ibanez of an aria, and even a Selmer and Gibson L5 overpriced, And you know what? Godin is this that I prefer, like on the acoustic amp. A pleasure. All is not perfect of course but it gives life to every note. That's what I love. The sustain is good no more, but the balance between the bass and treble is good. In acoustics, it air to gypsy guitar and electric jazz sound more "Charlie Christian roots" that my L5. Personally, I love, both in rhythmic solo. I play mostly jazz, but over time I stopped being a purist. We can play anything with any ... and especially with this guitar. Unless the metal trash. Although ... why not.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had a month and I've never played so much guitar into the bathroom. No thrills, but a sort of osmosis. More than any other guitar I've had so far. For this price, it's a gift. Only my little old Patrick Eggle New York, yet do not look, I am still the same effect of ease and pleasure to play. All tastes are in nature and this Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin is simple for me. Hoping that love will last over time.
