Value For Money : Excellent
Mine is a 5127 (it is blue): the class fifties. For the rest it is all the other chronic comprabale here: Licensed Bigsby bridge (Bigsby and not at all), DeArmond pickups etc ...

UTILIZATION

Channel super enjoyable (I love the sleeves of a Gretsch Manir general). It is not too heavy (no central beam as far as I know). Access in acute ESRT correct for an archtop. The sound comes out by itself: warm, soft, ra and roots. Even if the DeArmond are not Dynasonic FilterTron or they come out with dynamic beucoup a warm "trs Gretsch." Compared to the 5120 team Gretsch humbuckers (which resemble FilterTron their cot "toaster", but that did not sound, this is my DeArmond SERIES with good sense choice to purchase the Gretsch archtop his few do. I put 8 out of 10 because of the quality easel average, and knobs that are fragile.

SOUNDS

Rockabilly is not really what I play most, but I wanted to put me, I found a 5127 used, and I've made. Obtaining Gretsch sounds easy (simple routing): playing a little knobs easily found its major (Eddie Cochran, Brian Setzer), if one has enough skilled fingers ... The pickups are trs expressive, and the slightest nuance in the game means ..
I play on Marshall and not the type of amp that-a priori-is this type of guitar (Fender. ..), for I am delighted with this choice. It is even possible to hard rock with this guitar ...

OVERALL OPINION

Super good value quality price (I pay mine 400). So of course I want to spend the 6120 (the true ...).
