UTILIZATION
The handle is really nice, thin enough, a slight "V" and with a touch very pronounced notes "resonate" in each finger.
The Bigsby vibrato does not Disagree guitar, but should not jump in with both feet.
The Bridge is very comfortable rocking bar: one can mutate the string with your right hand (for right-handed) very gradually.
Access to treble is not as easy as the more modern guitars.
The volume of the body of the guitar is rather large (compared to solid bodies), but the ergonomics are very comfortable. Standing or sitting, the guitar is balanced and stable. Its lightness is very valuable for me, especially when I have to play long standing.
SOUNDS
This guitar has a sound Excellent. His grave is particularly attractive.
I play on a Mark IV, in styles jazz, blues, pop, rockab, rock, punk, hard rock. Jazz and blues sounds are very round, soft and precise in those rockab pop, slap it and it's very energetic twang, in rock, punk and hard rock is really the class of which are very poignant distos with trunk and presence.
It can go from warm to savagery melody vintage: A really good sound!
Handling the pickup selector with that of the tone provides quick access to the very different palettes, each time with the quality to go.
OVERALL OPINION
Before buying it, I tried several other gretsch which a reverent horton heat. I finally took the 120th Anniversary because I liked the possibilities of sound type and more modern sounds, and sounds incredible serious.
Compared to other Gretsch Pro, it's still cheaper new. The problem is that it is no longer produced today.
