It is a fantastic guitar for jazz, but also good for rock and blues. Tone is always fat and clear, and the sustain is good. Action is low, and the neck feels great.
It is designed to be used with heavier strings, so it is not the greatest for string bending. It really is more of a jazz guitar, but that is what I use it for.
Top back and sides are solid wood. It is made mostly of beautiful quilted maple. It is semi-hollow which lends to its good sustain and fat tone. Binding is a nice touch. A very well made guitar
If you can get this guitar for anywhere near what I got it for, go for it. It is worth more like $1200+. Tone and appearance are beautiful, and it feels like a dream.
