The guitar is a 2370 ibanez semi-hollow Gibson ES345 copy of (this one with a Varitone ES335). This model was manufactured in Japan during the first half of the 70 (until 1976, when the mine). The pickups are humbuckers Ibanez super 58. The bridge is kind of gibson as well as the mechanisms that are metal. Found at the two volume buttons trimmings, two tone knobs and a three-position switch and a Varitone which acts a bit like a tone knob. The handle is screwed and has beautiful pearl inlays.

UTILIZATION

This guitar is very comfortable to play. Unlike a es345 copy it, the handle of this guitar is very thin and easy to handle. In addition, access to acute seems to me correct. This guitar is particularly light and well balanced. However, the body is quite impressive what does bother me is great but people can put off smaller. Well regulated, this guitar is a treat!

SOUNDS

This guitar has a relatively wide range of sounds ranging from rock sound to a more jazz / blues. The sound of the humbuckers can even have a very significant distortion such Blackos hardos USW. However, the feedback generated you can directly go to the store to buy a hearing aid care for ears !!!!! In addition, the output level of the microphones is pretty average. I mainly use this guitar for playing blues / jazz and I set up ropes spun flat above 12/52. I use a Marshall Valvestate VS65R and an old Fender 70s. It sounds like love. The sound of this guitar is definitely round and warm (at the same time, it's not a telecaster either!). More than anything, I really like the sound of the neck pickup, it sounds really jazz. I like also the neck pickup / bridge pickup, the sound is clearer. on the other hand, playing with the bridge pickup gives her a typical rock or rock and roll that I really like using.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar for a year and a half and I play it every day. I really appreciate the sound of this guitar and great playability on it. I regret that it is just as old (26 years) because the binding jumped a few places on the body and the headstock has a few chips.
Before buying this guitar I tried an epiphone sheraton II and the dot epiphone 335. Et .... both in instrument making, electronics, mechanical sound of the guitar there is no picture! I think the price / quality ratio is exceptional, in fact for about 450 euros you can have an instrument that sounds like a ES335, which has the build quality of a Gibson and the price of an Aria Pro II!
By the time I bought this guitar I had enough money to buy a new sheraton II but looking back I do not really regret my choice. A nice scratch!
