Jazz guitar, half body completely hollow (no center beam) made in Japan, 22 frets, two pickups silent 58, two volumes, one tone, floating bridge, ebony fingerboard, natural finish, gold hardware.
UTILIZATION
The handle is perfect for my taste, neither too thin nor too thick, agreements enchainent easily double the gap may seem surprising at first for a jazz guitar, but it is effective for acute access.
The almost classic form in 16 inches, and light weight mean that you can play standing for long periods without fatigue.
Sound (flat net with ropes 11/50), clear, clean, clear, dynamic sound, the microphone is acute rather dry, cracking (for 1 / 2 credit) and the two pickups together are good for rhythm, but to play jazz, I prefer the micro serious.
Thereafter I installed the 11/49 round net, I gained clarity and crunch, I was surprised at the result, it sounds good blues, there is saturation in large than it wrong, but here we would have suspected.
SOUNDS
Playing jazz and blues, this guitar suits me perfectly, but it sounds better on some amps, a Fender Jazzking, Rivera, Fender superfield xd was total happiness, but about a Roland Cube, the sound became more dull, then testing, then connect several amps compare.
OVERALL OPINION
I bought it in November 2008, what I like most about this guitar sounds (clear and crunch) ergonomics, access to acute, the look.
I tried a Gibson es 165, a Howard Roberts, its a Yamaha 2200, which are good guitars, but in my style, I preferred the Ibanez pm120.
At value for money, although the manufacturing and finishing are very good, I find the price a bit excessive when you sell it on occasion it may delist significantly.
If it all over again, I'll buy the same conditions, I paid 1700 Euros new, when we saw her regularly at 2100 euros.
