Mine is 1985 and made in Japan (photo on my profile). Maple / spruce with a mahogany neck and button palissandre.Mécaniques changed for Gothos, natural wood color. 2 volumes and 2 tones.
22 frets on a handle ultra comfortable, very fast. The jumbo frets are mediums. 3-position selector.

UTILIZATION

Ergonomics of 335, heavy weight. Access to acute enough aisé.Pour sound, microphones home are not bad at all. I put an SD SH1 59 'in the neck position and a SD SH4 chevalet.Donc J. Beck, I'm going from jazz to hard rock with a real personality.

SOUNDS

I plugged into a Twin Amp then the legendary Fender plain and very good sound or a warm overdrive Twintone Koch. With JB, full of harmonics, a sound that we work with a pick, according to the attack. T 59 'has a round, warm full of finesse. I tried 335 (which I love Gibson), but not blatant enough for the price differences. And since 1985, it has not changed: a very high quality guitar and misunderstood.
The Argus AF is below its real side.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since 1985 (23 years) and she followed me everywhere (studio, stage, pending). The Last Mistress.
The day I die, I ask that the burns. I could not bear to see her in other hands ...
