«  This is not a single coil, so what? »

installed for 1 week in my Squier Vintage Modified (neck position) etemps I had to test it as clean overdrive. It replaces a little grain malgé 59 which occasioned great a slight imbalance between the high E and the other strings (string alignment relative to the terminals), which required me to remove the ropes. So I found myself with too much volume difference between 59 and Hotrails the bridge. Through design "rails", this is a memory. Obviously it was not slamming a single coil (after all this is a humbucker should know what you want). Fishing I wanted a well full bridge and side handle, I am served. Mix with the middle pickup (single Duncan Designed origin) is fun and usable. I hold a brief config '(Cool rail / Duncan Design / Hotrails) that suits me and makes me want to play. Small detail: a knob 500K instead of 250K brighten the sound a tad!
