I set up this kit that's 18 months on my LP-like from 1978. Microphones were out of its age and out of breath, and I was wondering how the upgrade.

BGL in the thread, I found the production of this NZ luthier wood using very specific Oceania (which everyone does not like the look, far from it) and I saw that 'he made his own microphones to guitars, and declined as two kits as accessories: a kit for the strata, one for LP.

The demos on their website convinced me that I would have something very different from what is happening elsewhere.

Jon LANGCASTER is a tutorial on Youtube to get their microphones LP (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB9la3yeUqw) and following the letter we are left with an LP that sounds very strange: It is the snapping and cutting of a single coil in the meaty humbuckers, but always with the trunk and potatoes of humbuckers, even in single coil sounds typed. Arpeggios, for example, are sparkling but never garish.

The electronic attenuator features a mini-switch that can handle the sound + - 10 db, but also a true overdrive, controlled by a push-pull that takes for actver and which adjusts the intensity of running from 0 to 10 of the knob.

In short, this is a really comprehensive electronics, highly efficient and progressive in its settings, offering many facets to a guitar-shaped LP (one must be able to adapt to something else, everything is a question of length of cable between controls and the traditional selection switch for microphones), and truly innovative sound colors.

For demos, mine would not worship the quality of the work of Jon LANGCASTER (: mode_humilité_inside. Instead, I invite you to visit his website and Youtube demos have been enough to convince me, which I am happy always.

Related services provided, the kit seems suddenly a bit cheaper although not really given. One question remains: what makes it a perfect guitar to the violin? This is not the case with mine, but nothing is ever final.
