SP Custom Handwound Pickups ChaosLand Lite

I have been using the SP Custom Handwound Chaos Land Lite electric guitar pickup for about 3 years now. It definitely comes in handy for those who like to play live and would rather not shell out the cash for an acoustic-electric guitar. I use it with my Takamine and it works great. I like the fact that it's easy to use and it's generally pretty responsive to dynamics. Unlike other pickups of this nature, the pickup slides into the sound hole rather easily, and has cushions on the both ends of it so that it does not scratch the wood of the guitar, or the pickup itself. One drawback of the pickup is that due to its size, it is not able to achieve the variety of timbres that a smaller pickup would be able to do. This is due to the fact that the size prevents the user from moving it around to different parts of the sound hole. For some players, this might be a deal breaker; for me, it really isn't a big deal as I get the sound I need from it regardless. The main complaint I have with it is that the tone that comes out of it is not quite as good as that of an acoustic-electric. However, for most live settings, this pickup is more than sufficient, at least for amateurs. I've never gotten a tone I couldn't live with out of it. I have tried some other models, and I honestly liked this one the best. It was a little expensive, but for the price it was absolutely fair. I would honestly have to say that there is not much of a better choice than this pickup out there in terms of competition, at least not amongst those in the price range of the SP. This is a great buy for your if you are on the hunt for a custom pick up!

I was looking for some time a new micro bridge to get on my Washburn N4 Davies history to win a little grain and lose some high frequencies (too) with the present U.S. L500XL Bill Lawrence (worse with the Bill & Becky! ), so I started looking in the usual brands like Seymour Duncan or DiMarzio, but I was not convinced so far.

Having discovered the brand via a Custom SP forum, I leaned a little on the subject and I found that all users were satisfied by these microphones is why I set my sights on this mark (in addition !...). Cocorico

So I found this opportunity! Chaosland Micro Lite, known for sending the sauce, and there was this revelation: I had never had such a sound! this microphone coupled to a stringed nervous as the N4 (ie alder body) and absolutely insane: ultra powerful, but not cold, a grain very flattering, perfectly mastered frequencies, Glance ... a wonder!

I tried a totally uncontrollable Bill and Becky on my guitar and very sensitive to the buzz, a DiMarzio Drop Sonic, a SH4 and a Gibson 500 T, nothing like I found the ultimate microphone so that I Neck've built a model for harmonizing the whole.

The most amazing is the ability to play these pickups in other records, despite the high power they respond superbly to play more cool down the volume of the guitar (on the N4 there is no knob tone).

The price / quality ratio is unbeatable for the "lite" and the average for the deluxe, I also have a "Verstyle" from the same brand in Deluxe.

Aves I play these pickups for almost 2 years and I'm not ready to change, I shall have the curiosity to go into Models "Deluxe" instead of "lite" but I really love the sound current I I am resolved not to touch my current config so I do it again this choice without hesitation.
