Published on 06/07/13 at 09:14I tried gibson pickups, prs, Loureiro, musicman, DiMarzio
I just bought this micro bridge to replace the bridge with a gibson axcess (a bit feeble compared to the handle and too aggressive)
the microphone is very balanced, it goes well with the neck pickup,
Clean sound, the bass is present the medium and high frequencies are crystal clear. added to the neck pickup is really beautiful guitar is complete across the spectrum. (Split-it's nice and funky but hey that's not why you buy a Suhr)
Crunch, it is more nervous than the gibson (higher output level) (approaching HSF PRS) great to play jeff beck
a beautiful bright crunch without being aggressive
Saturated (yes it is made for it), while stands out as the PRS, never anything rough it is very articulate with serious beautiful without being invasive, psychics who pass me the term "tear their mothers' and out of the mix, very beautiful clear treble without being shrill or harsh, it blows it's alive, an excellent microphone.
The icing on the cake is that intermediate position neck pickup + bridge everything is clear despite the saturation and again the spectrum is fully covered, while in general saturated mixture of two double is rather big bazaar and draft, there is not really excellent.
Yes I would do this choice,
most: balanced and does not twist the ear good bass without invasive beings share clockwork, whistles and bright saturated
Cons: I go back again but I really do not know.
Thank you to the seller
