This is exactly the same as the model 165 but with leatherette finish instead of mahogany.

I bought a friendly price (3000 F) because it had a default of origin.
I took him to Pigalle and they said they had changed the preamp of the CMOS and redo the wiring diagram because in the old scheme the two preamps were active at the same time which meant losing power.
Since it repair my amp sounds better than 165, which seems to confirm what the technician told me.

UTILIZATION

Setup not so simple because the adjustment possibilities are enormous
But in all configurations the sound is huge and excellent

SOUNDS

It is perfect for my style from jazz to rock to blues
No metal nonetheless, unless they add a pedal was adequate.
This amp is capable of reter very clean at high volume, or to offer a huge distortion.
It is incredibly versatile.
In the studio I had better fasten my pants though, it is monstrous power

OVERALL OPINION

I have 12 years.
I love everything except the enormous weight, about 35 kg I think.
It is a rare model but if I found another copy I buy it without hesitation. What I also did with my model 165.
