Transistor amplifier with preamp tube distortion on the channel. 80Watt delivers the beast, even in concert I have never exceeded the south of the amp in the transplanting behind it is already more than enough to get sound!
The amp has a range of settings complete with separate settings for each channel (Clean / Crunch and two types of distortion) The amp also includes a reverb which I am using almost none.
UTILIZATION
Very simple configuration, the Marshall sound is there, we appreciate it quickly, we made it well (as old beginner / intermediate again). I bought it after selling my Line 6 (Spider III) and ... bah you can feel the wood of the guitar, metal strings ... Finally, what it sounds!
I bought it secondhand, in my sports teacher ... he lost the manual before you sell me the amp but ... completely useless for my taste!
SOUNDS
Playing metal and magnet incorporate long passages of clean up to the mayo, I used! the clean channel is very respectable, the channel distortion (number 2, the most powerful!) breath away! quite advanced in terms of volume, each chord sounds like the start of a jet engine ... Something for the young budding metalheads. However bad reviews reveal that the amp does not fit all!
connected directly from a gibson les paul (studio first prize), I avoid the effects! they are really useless for my style of play! I hesitate to buy a small chorus for a little more "flat" on the clean channel with reverb but it was already what it takes!
Sounds very fat but still sharp on the OD2 channel, just what I need, what I like!
The crunch channel is zero at c * st for my taste ... the OD1 does not serve me much but the blueseux have fun with.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a year, I tried many amps (vox, marshall master lead, zt, jet city), this amp is the friend of small budgets! found 200 € secondhand, I buy a present for my second apartment / room € 160 repeats found on the internet ... enjoy and the price of secondhand is ridiculous!
