2x 12 "Celestion Seventy 80 drivers in the speakers.
2 channels and 3 modes: classic and modern hi-gain hi-gain channel saturation, clean boost with an option for the clean channel with the possibility to adjust the reverb level for both channels, all of which are controllable via footswitch RF4G3.
A 3-band EQ and volume per channel (+ a sweep for the channel saturation), a master volume and effects loop on the back.
Lamp 12AT7 preamp and MOSFET power transistors.
G3 Series Plus uses the hybrid power circuit Valve Dynamic G3 like but also adds the tone circuit of V2 and T2.
UTILIZATION
While the amp is extremely simple to use, no need for manual or advice, you need just the knobs and adjust the sound as it sees fit. Having a volume for each channel is a real asset and we'll quickly boost the game's sound that has no clear setting aside its switch and it works perfectly!
SOUNDS
The sounds range from very mild aggression metal! I use it for two years with Horizon Edwards with a Di Marzio Tone Zone and with a Les Paul. Can we do almost everything Hard Rock and Metal (Mainly Thrash, Heavy and Speed) and some parts in clean pop. The boost opens the field of sonic possibilities from clean. It is a shame however that you can not really a crunch sound with this amp.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for two years and everything has gone well. Adjustable reverb and clean boost channel is really beautiful and more, I played for 3 years on G2 version and I have noted (but without having tried the G3 version) that virtually any small defects were removed. A sound of this quality at this price, it is not often in this category and particularly for lovers of loud music, I can only warmly recommend this amp.
