«  Hybrid Kit futuristic retro »

Published on 09/13/12 at 05:08
It is a single hybrid module controlled by midi interface.
At both oscillators has almost everything that was dared to digital in the 80s and 90 ... it's very typical and away from "analog modeling". There aliasing on most waveforms => module is adapted to low (square waveform is pretty much anti aliased).

The standard filter is pure analog 24dB/oct driven digital (resonance + cut).

UTILIZATION

Attention, this is a kit and must know how to handle a soldering iron!

The manual is quite clear if we already know some synths.

SOUNDS

Meanwhile hybrid is deliberate. This is not a model or a copy of an analog bouzni! He casios Grain CZ, chips consoles 80s but not a prophet or a moog.

on the other hand, side modulations, it is the same level as EMU Proteus 2000: you can adjust almost everything (even modulate the filter noise ... I like to do it)!

OVERALL OPINION

I know a lot of other synths and I am amazed by this kit € 165 (€ 140 kit box 25 €)!
