«  evolver killer?!? »

2 wavetable osc (unfortunately only a USER) and many thoughtful (like the rest of the synthesizer to writing code whichis a model of clarity and didacticism of the door is wide open to hackers at all levels since it is the DIY but also in the OS and firmware.
basically you can choose between several types of filters and VCA mounted on cards easily interchangeable or used in stand-alone with SIDE KICK: a box with about 2 and 2 LFO in which swipes the card filter + VCA Shruthi . So the sound is influenced by the filter that was chosen for the moment I have a Roland IR3109 filter, I intend to soon nab two multimode SSM 2044.

UTILIZATION

simply genius, getting started requires a few minutes, the interface is super convenient, really well thought out, it is a little complicated with the huge party sequencer / arpeggio most comprehensive edition of 3 maner as Tracker, step sequencer (perfect) or real-time. all with 4 knobs, 6 buttons and an encoder!
still no bugs, and a vibrant community, and in addition is a French who did it!

SOUNDS

there are really original features in the mix in addition to conventional sync, ring mod and cross-mod, there is also a Fuzz, tithe of 4 bits and 8 bits ... like the level of the modulation matrix giant anything can be modulated by all with several types of interaction between modules (which can be viewed through the LEDs that flash in time with the one you are to edit) lots of modes such as + - x X / OR min, max ... even with access to the CV outputs optional.
short, the only thing to compare it with what the EVOLVER, and there, despite the lack of two analog CSO of EVOLVER step seq and 2 instead of 4 for the evolver, the fate largely Shruthi winner personally I think the evolver is ruined by the digital effects that introduce a double A / DD / A into the signal path, may also be because just by tuning the filter at will we get really wanted her (SH-101 for me).
envelopes are very very good, low tear, the SUB-OSC (fifteen types available) brings a lot when the two parties are in osc sounds almost FM (FM synthesis can be basic to 4 op), sounds to Waldorf Micro -wave (the first, which the 3379 version with EMC may suggest)

OVERALL OPINION

for me it is one of the few really new synths out for years. so many small features seen anywhere before (use an arpeggio as a modulation source). one can easily find asser already mounted at reasonable prices (that of a evolver Used)
in the end: synth highly recommended, especially to fans of Walorf Micro-Wave, or prophet VS. Please note that we can chain multiple for polyphony!
