Published on 12/27/02 at 15:00Well Once upon a time back in 1964, I owned a Silvertone acoustic and kept it for three or four years, till my brother decided to make kindling out of it. Well I never forgot that but anyway, he gave me a slightly used Fender GC 23S for Christmas this year. Its a real beauty and sweet. Nice rich tone all up and down and across the fingerboard. Handles very well. Even played a little blues on it with a home made slider make out of a empty wine bottle. Just take you a long staight neck wine bottle,(one your slider finger will fit in) tie a string around the neck,squit lighter fluid on it light it, let it get hot and break it off.
