Value For Money : Excellent
The Martins, as everyone knows, are manufactured in Nazareth, the Judean country that has exported to the United States, where Jesus was born, it is normal that the miracles of stringed instruments are manufactured there, right?

It is therefore a model auditorium (000), the 00015. Smaller than a guitar dreadnough. I also tried the D15, but I fell for the grain more medium and form "mini jumbo" to 00015. Model while solid mahogany except rosewood fingerboard. Here, the evaluation is completely subjective: I love the simple and minimalist violin instrument. Than wood and only wood, no frills and mahogany is just beautiful to me. The reddish-brown suits me perfectly. The matt varnish is perfect, do not take fingerprints registered, and the smell of wood is intoxicating. Comes with a nice box and more. Only comment, polish the varnish is where the right arm.

UTILIZATION

The handle is not too thin or too wide for my hands are small. In general, I prefer the thick sleeves. The grip is very comfortable. The string action is a bit high, but after a few hours of use, it does not bother me that much. I will drop a chouilla action a few months. So, how access to sharp criticism of a guitar that is not made for that. It has no cut-and so. Why evaluate this criterion for this guitar? That said, when you know its handle, play mid, or if in the in the high register is not a problem. The body is slightly bulky and the handle very nice, this guitar is easy to play. Touch is simply excellent. We feel that going to a higher category. Any guitarist who has a little bit out a good bottle of n'improte what his guitar, but it sounds good, even very well from the first note.

SOUNDS

I bought my Martin because I was looking for that sound. Of course, this is not a Dreadnough of 68 as the father of a friend, but found a similar nature. I tried Guild is very bright and a little dirty at the same time fun. Taylors of: too bright, too clean, no thank you. Martin sounds a rather dull, she reasons rather well, the sound is very balanced. The particularity of this one is that it sounds very very dull for a Martin. Really means the wood vibrates, it is very far from the cling cling models below. The notes are very defined and precise, the sustain is very good. It's a perfect guitar for blues, jazz and even picking. Accompanying folk, it is rather between Nick Drake, Dylan, Sinatra for their felted pieces. In open chords at full speed (Celtic type), not the guitar thing. This guitar is very distinctive and will not suit everyone. But for about 900 euros, you get a real high quality instrument. I put 9 because at the moment, the guitar is new and it will take some years to fully open, and while there, it should be a marvel.

Another important despite the small box, it sends the small wood!

OVERALL OPINION

Since I bought a week ago, I only play this guitar, my electric are stored in their cases and out only for rehearsals. At first I found the sound a bit dull and then she has begun to open, like a Bordeaux which settles ... I even find that the sound is already improving by the day. I love its shape, wood, smell, touch and especially his very definite, clear, it produces. It is dull, but very crispy (I can find no other term), it has a lot of body, character, how it lives! This guitar is a guitar that is a long-term partner. I had no regret to sell certain electric, a Cort acoustic too. This one, I do not part with it any time soon (I do not think that will happen elsewhere). With experience, given the value for money (well, of course, is not given), but yes, this choice I would do without hesitation.
