    A good basis

    UTILIZATION

The sleeve is nice, a little finer than the S6 Original. The mini jumbo shape does not interfere with the game setting of the action is a bit too high of origin, like most of the Seagull.

    SOUNDS

I joined the opinion of Tchix regarding sounds. For its price (400 to 500 €), this Seagull offers the "leg" of the trademark sound affirmed round and warm. The sound is fairly balanced with that extra bit of reverb and projection due to the shape jumbo ... As the strings are new home! Indeed, I've tested several Seagull, the lower the premium, and all have original strings D'Addario phosphor bronze (stamped Godin). They sound good the first few hours of play but the presence, especially in the bass fades thereafter. The sound spectrum becomes unbalanced to midrange to treble. This fairly common on unprotected ropes is particularly detrimental on this guitar.
To really appreciate it fully, it needs a proper adjustment of the action (can be done if your blackjack dealer's maker) and a good set of strings protected, eg Addario EXP phosphor bronze (near of the original spirit), or more typed: Elixir in Polyweb (to accentuate the roundness) or Nanoweb (to accentuate the shine) (Nb: Elixir Phosphor Bronze must be between the two but I have not yet tested).
To complete the Seagull S6 Original sounds a bit rounder and more balanced but has that little side "jumbo".

    OVERALL OPINION

This is a good product that deserves a bit of attention (and setting strings) to become a truly indispensable in its price category. Indeed it has a flavor all its own sound which is difficult to obtain in its Asian competitors.
The varnish of the table is fine and quite fragile. It will take care of (+ + + Avoid the angles of furniture and a good plan to cover). However Seagull design in general is pretty beefy (stability of the handle + +).

    Solid Cedar (Pressure Tested)
    Back & Sides: Wild Cherry
    Cream Binding
    Silver maple neck
    Rosewood fingerboard and bridge
Nut in Tusq ® nut and compensated bridge
    Finish: Semi-Gloss Custom Polished Finish

Correct finish but could have been better for a guitar to 389 €. In fact the community is a model series S series with small camouflaged by default finish called "rustic". For my part the binding cream is joined at the wrong jumper (not visible from below) and the overlay of "dots" on the handle at the 12th fret is not right.

Varnish very very end ... put careful hands. Completely prevents the journey of guitar here and there ... pity.

    UTILIZATION

Channel pleasant way Seagull S6. Very round and moderately thick, it holds well in hand but seem not suit everyone, so try before you buy. The satin finish is a real plus in terms of feel and playability
The frets are perfectly finished and once the action settled the small onions that is impressive: the guitar is extremely comfortable to play. Really impressive for an acoustic guitar.
Oil bath mechanical quality correct that explicitly grants it. Tusq saddle in good quality and well finished.

Mini Jumbo shape ... a discovery for me. It is neither confusing nor captivating ... it's different. The body is thinner than a dreadnought model but the "ass" is more rounded. This does not interfere with the practice of the instrument. Be careful though, such an ergonomics does not fit everyone.

Access to acute correct key joins the body at 14th fret. The junction body / neck is relatively thick (compared with the last lag). No pan-cut ...

Get started immediately (it is better on an instrument of this price) and also immediate seduction.

    SOUNDS

We arrive on land particularly subjective: that sounds from the instrument.

The red cedar has its admirers and detractors, I personally think that wood is perfect for accompaniment.

The alloy Cedar red / cherry, satin finish and shape Mini-Jumbo guitar gives a projection impressive. If you count singing while playing, you have to sing loud.

Plectrum sound is quickly (after using the ropes) saturated with treble and midrange. This became even more picking. This can be annoying or confusing at times. I would have liked a more balanced guitar with less acute and more went to bass. It is perfect for accompaniment or play cushy home.

Apart from this small problem, the record is obviously excellent. The sound is good ... very good. It's particularly fit with other instrument by its sound and color equalization oriented natural midrange / treble.

The guitar takes its full extent in picking.

I expect a significant change in the minutes of the massive table ... we'll see.

    OVERALL OPINION

Played for 1 month, I am partially satisfied. Not because the instrument is of poor quality because the finish is good (thanks Seagull) and the comfort of amazing game, but the sound is unique (the form, the alloy of wood?). I would have preferred more pronounced bass.

I tried the S6, and I should go to the S6 had a much more balanced and had a similar finish.

The quality / price is good.

My advice is to try before buying. It very likely will appeal. If you're tempted by Seagull models, consider trying the S6.

The Seagull Entourage Mini Jumbo is a standard jumbo acoustic guitar that in my opinion is one of the best you can get for the price. The guitar isn’t an acoustic/electric, but I do believe that Seagull offers an option for adding electronics if you want, although the stock version doesn’t come with any pick ups. The guitar has 22 frets and has a rosewood finger board and a rustic burst custom finish.

    UTILIZATION

The Seagull Entourage Mini Jumbo really has a nice overall feel as it’s a really easy guitar to play. I can’t believe how cheap this guitar is considering the price, as it’s really the perfect beginner’s guitar to learn on as it’s got a very accurate feel even for more experienced players. There aren’t controls to worry about here since it’s just an acoustic.

    SOUNDS

The sound of the Seagull Entourage Mini Jumbo is full bodied and not too tinny and bright like most of the acoustic guitars in this price range. I haven’t done any recording with the guitar as I’ve only used it for practicing and playing around, but I would imagine that this full sound would translate pretty well. I really can’t get over the sound of this guitar considering the low price tag.

    OVERALL OPINION

The Seagull Entourage Mini Jumbo is truly one of the best guitars for this price. It’s really astounding and I’m not sure how Seagull does it. In general they make high quality guitars at prices that won’t get you too much with other brands. This is not only the perfect guitar for beginners but is great for experienced players who are looking to save some money for an acoustic as well. Seagull isn’t very well known, but do yourself a big favor and try this guitar out for yourself to see what I’m talking about.
