accustomed to the Yamaha arrangers I know very well, I would put a Korg arranger (Pa588) my music school. But the organization from Korg is very diffrente from Yamaha and more complex. Voil I would like to help. How to make memoirs Registration me taking into account all rglages (sounds but also the changes of styles of variations). Does using the sts? or songbook? or performance? According to my first test in the store, the config is correct for someone accustomed to arranger keyboards
the edition is much more convoluted (quite taken head)
I had the manual in hand but I am not arrived to do what I wanted to (create the registrations that take me into account ALL my rglages)

UTILIZATION

My main use is to live accompaniment of singers.
The general configuration is simple, I have used the auto accompaniment within 5 minutes after opening the box.
I had to open the manual to configure the operation of the pedal Roland DP-8, as well as the use of pads.
The sound editing is not necessary for my use of the keyboard, so no opinion. However, the menus to edit simple parameters to sustain are easily accessible.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 months. Previously, I had a Roland GW-7, whose use was slightly different.
What I like most: pads
What I like least: the touch screen and volume changes when requesting a fill-in.
The price / quality ratio is excellent, especially compared to Roland GW-8 that does not pad, but so expensive.

I just give my opinion on the Korg PA500 Arranger.

Lomtemps I hesitated between the PA500, the mox6 of yamaha, yamaha psr and S710. Jai listen to demo a lot.

PRECISION: The purpose of my purchase is to produce film music, especially orchestral. I judge a lot about the ability of PA500 in this area.

The PA500 is a keyboard 5octaves with a double sequencer 16pistes and regulation of a large number of sounds, has to get lost!

UTILIZATION

I havent needed the manual.

The few problems are solved by the manual integrated into the arranger himself, a real plus!


The touch screen is really handy, if not just indispensable.
The sequencer is really a plus!


So now the sounds:
Orchestra level is very good, exellent strings! Especially when performance or lon orchestra mixes several different octaves!
The flutes are good, the extra saxes, harp is very beautiful, pizzicattos too!
The guitars are nice, pianos passable.
The drums are more than drinking and sfx to create environments are very real!

So what sounds are back?
In after me, the choirs. Very bad, no illusions as possible with a real choir. The grounds have over the mox6 xs / xf will be superior.

OVERALL OPINION

I do not regret mo choice but a little less for voice and the fact that in the 16-track sequencer, only one performance (assembly of several sounds) can be saved, it will then make the sounds when you ... shame see the quality of performance ropes.

EXCELLENT value for money, the sounds of acoustic instruments are super realistic synth sounds are brilliant, beautiful tablecloths, leads incredible ... It has everything!

I make dances with: I start the evening with the paso doble, waltz, tango, etc.. I finished by techno, dance, RnB through disco, 80s, rock ... it's true: you can do anything with (even Jean Michel Jarre used on stage next to Synthex, Moog, CS80, North! you say it ...)
