All user reviews for the Roland E-60

I tried to Music Stars yesterday for 1 hour at least (Pigalle).
Arranger keyboard keyboard 61 notes (E-50) / 76 notes (E-60).
MIDI connections, however, by lack of sufficient instructions I did not understand how the 32-channel multitimbral! Maybe it's 16 internal and 16 external or .... A.
The beast contains a large number of sounds categorized easily accessible from the front panel buttons. They are editable: synthesis Roland classique.Une little personal question: according to data published by the brand gear would contain 512MB of ROM sounds, which is huge! The pianos sound like those of the Fantom Xx no more, the EP also sax .... etc. The kits are a little more (especially snare drums, etc ...) short, there are more sounds qques but Number and quality do not justify, in my humble opinion the 512MB of ROM in waves ... We have to explain myself. Sounds are not bad but I do not understand how such fate YAMAHA sounds more bluffing with less ROM! I said that I made a headphone, mine to compare equal to hear! So doubt on the sounds. The drum kits are not bad but with experience the SRX-01, I make a face: what happened to the 512MB ROM !!!!!!!
There is an effects section, same structure as the Fantom Xx, edited etc. ....
The party rivals sequencer arranger arrangers of the time but now Roland has nothing to prove (4 Variations + in + Fill + Intro + Ending 16-track sequencer). I note 8 because it still has the characteristics of an effective arranger: you can make music, a piece of A to Z with short, there is something fun with. but it suddenly feels the marketing anyway.
It includes a floppy drive, a memory card reader, multi-format, great for large capacities.
I note in passing that the touch is not great at all! I prefer the feel of the Tyros far.

UTILIZATION

For configuration, I do not go very far, but thanks to the wide touch screen and the system settings menu pages are easily accessible: the ergonomics Roland has already proven itself.
Still, with all the screen editing is made easy.

OVERALL OPINION

So I tried the E-50 and E-60 Stars in Music.
The ergonomics are well thought out, the main parameters are accessible directly by front panel buttons (effects, game types, parts keyboards rigth / left, sailing sequencer / parties etc ...).
I tried the Tyros, but they are good for me outside scholarships, the Korg (s), Roland (G-70, G-800, G-1000, GW-7 etc. ...).
The price is very interesting E-50 = about € 1,000 according to the distributor, the E-60 € 1,300 or less.

Let's say it's a good choice for a first workstation / arranger for the warning but that's another story.
