Arranger keyboard, 61 keys keyboard, touch weighted, comfortable, makes a good play on stage or in homestudio.
Full connectivity (video too ... I do not use it but hey ...).
Many sounds, covering a wide variety of styles: pop, latin, jazz, electro etc. .... sounds have a good dynamic, is not much to take on the sounds of instruments (piano, EP, strings, acoustic guitars / electrical etc. ....). A good place to sound "SUPER ARTICULATED" who Soner instruments with the nuances of instruments ... it's not at all aml.
The effects section is quite complete and very effective, especially the EQ to suit the mixer / sound because sometimes, a certain sound frequencies are not well reproduced: the EQ haureusement are there!
The sequencer arranger is not bad, you have to dive in to understand the intricacies of the keyboard as well as components for the arrangements sequencer can go quite afar. However, the philosophy of this gear is rather an arranger workstation but it can very well use it to dial.
UTILIZATION
In view of the multitude of parameters, the configuration is relatively complicated ... But the price of a good result! There are no free lunches!! The game controls (backlit keys) are very convenient, especially for areas with reduced lighting (piano bar) it is seen!
Parameter editing is easy thanks to the big screen keypad (menu, pages, etc. ....).
The manual is thick, not very clear on some points but it does not represent an obstacle to understanding the craft.
The "synthesis" is limited to the amplitude envelopes and filters, effects and controls Mod. Wheel etc. .... it was already quite a lot! There is already a lot to do with the composition!

6 months ...
TOP sounds are: a good sound system These and the foot!! We take pleasure to accompany him, to compose or arrange ... really: thank you Yamaha!
There are still many things which I do not even use it on the keyboard but it will come ...
The beast is expensive but I think this is a sustainable investment. The only negative I see is the keyboard 61 keys: 76 aurra been welcome!
Re-election may not be as long as it is there and well I would use it but if YAMAHA deign to 76 keys out I would be greatly interested!
I'm not 10/10, but it would have abused a very good machine, I have tried many (Roland VA7 or other Korg PA50 all this all this ...) and I chose on the Tyros 2 and I do not regret it farre away ...
