It's a lap steel guitar, entry-level brand, manufactured in China ...
But very good quality, well finished, apparently made with good wood ..

UTILIZATION

It's really an electric lap steel, say that more ...
space between the strings is great for playing with a slide bar, and it has the same "accuracy" of a guitar and suddenly it sounds, serious! without taking the head to adjust stuff

SOUNDS

Out of the box, even without the plug, the sound is amazing!
Strong, rich, vibrant (all mahogany, and apparently because of the size of the handle section and to the fact that it is a thru body construction, it vibrates ...!!)
I ordered direct from Asher (she is also available in Europe) customized with PAF 59 'Seymour Duncan is the sound of a Les Paul but by lap steel ... I do not know what it can give with the original pickups ..
it is actually the sister of the model created by Bill Asher Ben Harper, a bit is a Les Paul Studio or Junior can be a signature model in Gibson.mais already the sound is there, Gros well fat at its lens, no complaints.
It works really well with lots of effects, I turn on the distortion and its large, rendering with delay and reverb is awesome too ethereal, very little attack. There are plenty of sounds to discover, by changing the tuning, playing techniques .... but it was quite good in general lap steel ...



OVERALL OPINION

I play for a little less than a year now, but I'm still like a kid who just opened his presents under the tree, it's magic, even if it's a guitar "made in china" the quality is there, it is well designed, then it provides a good guitar at a price not too inaccessible.
In addition they are very nice in Asher, with great openness and a good listener, they are not omnibulés the bizness.
Like I said earlier, his Les Paul on a lap steel is a fabulous idea, the sound richness brought by the open tuning is very musical and power chord is quite efficient and easy.
