I think this mic is slightly more neutral than a TLM 103: without the 'hump' characteristic of the latter (which I appreciate, but that does not happen by itself), with a softer tone, less overtones, and a non-naturalist realism very welcome in overhead (ie it is not 'clinical', though the rendering depends bcp accompanying preamp). Many air and transient with Trident.
