OVERALL OPINION

It's been three years since I have this microphone. It has an excellent signal / noise ratio. In addition, its ability to withstand the high pressure is impressive. However, I do not like to catch votes. The sound is not quite "open". Very late in the extreme treble, it lacks a nice medium. Down when a medium it is not well defined. The sound is "card" on the voice.
It can be great on saxophones, brass .... sometimes close on guitar amps ..... You have to find.
In any case this microphone has a color property to him absolutely. This is one of its great quality.

The value for money is good.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for ending for 9 months. I tried it in diffrent recording setups (voice and masculine fminines, congas, bongos, acoustic guitars, electric guitars) and I was able to express many positions from the source.

OVERALL OPINION

I have two for two and a half years.
It makes me a little correct torque, honest, but far from being big big sound.
In the same range I do not know if Studio Project is not better (check!)

The sound is excellent.
Studio (at least in that I work o) is chosen according to the micro range of the instrument, and grain that wants to make. That is why there agnralement trs that little eq taking this type of microphone. Having said that I speak for Neumann, Brauner, KM and Schoeps, this is not the same level.
But in the case of a vote taken with the 4000B, a eq s'avrera essential for the intelligibility and prsence voice. This is not a trs forcment correct operating mode (less than correct with eq API, but in this case on the 4000B has no place in your studio).

OVERALL OPINION

I have this microphone for 2 years. I almost always with a sutil prampli TLAudio 5051. This is my first true large capsule condenser microphone. I had the C1000 before. I AIM first sound much clearer, the output gain and the ability to choose its directivity. This is not necessarily a micro trs versatile and can sound a bit on some cardboard voice as the medium less than a Dfine AT4040 example. That said, I have so far not been complaining about it, considering the price (bought 400). The suspension is very practical book with easy to use and trs (unlike AT !!!). The look is a bit unusual but hey, it was not making the sound either ...
